Boss
Oil for Medical Technologies
BOSS Medical Fluid 20
Boss Medical Fluid 20 was specially developed for applications in medical areas in which negative
effects on humans or animals are to be avoided. Boss Medical Fluid 20 is highly biocompatible and can
be fully sterilized (hot air or moist heat sterilization). The special formulation allows the oil film to be
penetrated by the water vapor, so that even hard-to-reach places can be reached.
BOSS Medical Fluid 1000 range
Boss Medical Fluids in the 1000 range are lubricants and dielectrics for mechanical and electronic or electromechanical components. These fluids are chemically inert, have a very low surface tension and are excellent spreaders that create even, thin, steam-permeable films. In addition, the friction coefficients of all materials are reduced significantly. This product series is available in the viscosity classes 15 to 510.
BOSS Medical Fluid 3000 range
Boss Medical Fluids in the 3000 range are lubricants and dielectrics for mechanical and electronic or electromechanical components. These fluids are used at high temperatures. Their pour point is very low and their viscosity index very high. Products in this series are compatible with nearly all materials. This product series is available in the viscosity classes 17 to 310.
BOSS Medical Fluid 6000 range
Boss Medical Fluids in the 6000 range are lubricants and dielectrics for mechanical and electronic or electromechanical components. They combine the specific advantages of the 1000 and 3000 range. So these fluids, have even better thermal stability and higher viscosity than those mentioned above. Other benefits are low vapour pressure and improved evaporation losses. This product series is available in the viscosity classes 72 to 277.
BOSS Medical Fluid 8000 range
Boss Medical Fluids in the 8000 range are lubricants and dielectrics for mechanical and electronic or electromechanical components. 8000 series products differ from 6000 range products in having more rigorous specifications. These fluids have very good viscosity at low temperatures, very low evaporation losses and a very high viscosity index. This product series is available in the viscosity classes 18 to 355.
